Who are you dear? brimming with light
Whose words are like the gentle river flows
Whose eyes are black, like a winter's night
In my livid delusions, mid hallucinations
Has my soul birthed you to soothe my sighs
Post the dawning of soberity, to fade
Leaving my heart lost, and run awry
If this is real, pardon my pessimistic eyes
For the universe has far often been sly
Should I wake, and find you faded too soon
Fret not, it wouldn't be a first of time's chide
