Wanderer

A fools such as me
Has wandered amongst the fields
Sat beneath the stars to endless nights
Sleep often overcame my arrogance
And yet what has found
The body was a shell that gazed
Traversed the mighty mountains and rivers
Only to recede back towards you
And then I saw you
Holding my soul
In your arms, keeping it warm
Awaiting my return
This shell
Only to now be embibed
With a soul you have found
Before me, of mine
Yet you believe I can compliment you
